First Lambs Arrive

22/9/2026 Our first lambs arrived last night.

While the temperature plummeted to 3 degrees, the mums and the new baby lambs, including a set of twins were sheltered from the cold by the solar panels.

With around 50 ewes on site we are expecting more deliveries over the next few weeks. We will post some more updates and a final tally once everyone arrives.

This goes to show how with a little bit of thought and care, solar farms can work together with farmers to offer additional revenue and a better outcome for livestock and the soil.

Thanks to honorary uncle Geoff, our farm manager for ensuring the well being of all the sheep and cattle on site.
